This knife can be considered one of the most "beautiful" knife designs in Nepal, with an overall slender and elegant appearance and a smooth, flowing shape. The traditional full-tang handle has been modified to an integral blade structure, and the gracefully curved design enhances its aesthetic appeal. Simultaneously, it possesses strong practical value and has been assembled as one of the few large-sized Gurkha knives in the Gurkha 3rd Special Operations Brigade. Another significant feature of the Tsunami knife is the exquisite "Sulpat" pattern carving on the blade, along with the intricate brass inlay on certain sections of the pattern. This carving represents the shape of a plant leaf found in the eastern mountainous regions of Nepal, symbolizing sacredness and auspiciousness. The Tsunami is one of the best-crafted and most beautiful military knives in active service, with a polished mirror-like blade and exceptionally strong piercing capability. It combines the functions of chopping, slicing, and thrusting, making it a splendid and practical military knife.
